Don't have time to give your yard the attention it deserves? Kids running around on crusty, brown, dormant grass?

People often ask me, "How is your grass so green in the middle of summer?" The answer is as simple as it gets. Cut and Water often.

If you cut more than 1/3 the length of your grass in a single cutting, you'll stress it and it'll start to brown. The fix; cut less at once by mowing more often. Most people also end up cutting their grass too short in an effort to extend their next cutting. Turf Type Fescues, and Bluegrasses don't like to be short (which is mostly what we have here in the Pacific Northwest).
