For this Service, the goal is to remove as many blemishes from the paint as possible. This usually requires 2-3 Passes with cutting compounds, then polishing compounds to finish it off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis service is recommended if you have a collector car, or a hobby vehicle you want as prestine as possible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a VERY time consuming process. All said and done (depending on the condition of the paint when I accept the vehicle), this is a 3-4 day process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe first day is essentially spent washing, and decontaminating the paint. After an initial strip-wash, your vehicle will be sprayed down with iron remover to rid the paint of embedded metals. This will sit for a few minutes before it's rinsed off and the vehicle is claybarred.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDecontaminating the paint is something we do not rush. You'll see this (and feel it) on the finished product.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the paint is decontaminated, it's officially 'clean'. This is when it becomes smooth, you'll notice water will sheet right off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNow we start cutting the paint with various Cutting and Polishing compounds. Most paints can be brought to 80-90% in 2-Passes.
