Often times this will appear along the windows, doorhandles, trunk jam, or along the roof railings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 3, Clean wheel wells. If you have carpeted wheel wells, I think you under-estimate the amount of time this takes. Carpet holds dirt really well, who would have guessed?! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 4, Clean the wheels and tires. Even without going offroad, your tires will sweat oils that make them appear brown over time. This step removes that oily residue and brings your tires back to life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 5, Spot spray any stubborn bugs, and apply Water Spot Remover to windows. The effectiveness of removing water-spots at this stage is greatly determined by how severe the spots are.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 6, Apply foam using a foam cannon. For this Service, the goal is to remove as many blemishes from the paint as possible. This usually requires 2-3 Passes with cutting compounds, then polishing compounds to finish it off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis service is recommended if you have a collector car, or a hobby vehicle you want as prestine as possible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a VERY time consuming process. All said and done (depending on the condition of the paint when I accept the vehicle), this is a 3-4 day process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe first day is essentially spent washing, and decontaminating the paint. After an initial strip-wash, your vehicle will be sprayed down with iron remover to rid the paint of embedded metals. This will sit for a few minutes before it's rinsed off and the vehicle is claybarred.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDecontaminating the paint is something we do not rush. You'll see this (and feel it) on the finished product.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce the paint is decontaminated, it's officially 'clean'. This is when it becomes smooth, you'll notice water will sheet right off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNow we start cutting the paint with various Cutting and Polishing compounds. Most paints can be brought to 80-90% in 2-Passes.
